When I'll feel like it...No disrespect meant at all for all who do go on the ATNR during winter, but I prefer to brave the elements for an adventure a little bigger than a trip around the block.

It's my personal choice, and I would certainly hope that it would be respected as such by all.

As for writing down plates, this time they had it right and had an established list (not like last time where they walked around filling in the gaps). As for people questioning the evidence (proof of speed reading), this I do not know...

I'd doubt it - the courts work on basis that the police have no vested interest therefore no reason to lie, unlike the defendant.

This afternoon I was driving a little too fast to Orewa with an attrective young friend.
Ginga pulls me over, comes up to the window and says, "So where's the fire Buddy?"
I tell him "There's no bloody fire"
He gets a little offended by this tone and tells me to get out of the car.
He says" You're in a lot of trouble Pal, I clocked you at 147kph. This is a 70k zone. What's your hurry?"
I look him in the eye and in a hushed tone tell him "This young woman here just promised me a fuck and so we are headed to a motel."
Well he's really taken back by this frankness but then he seems to compose himself and he bends down and eyeballs my young companion.
He obviously likes what he says because, bugger me, he says "I tell you what mate, I'll let you off if I can be next."
Well I'm a bit taken back by this but then I say "Ooargh (deep in thought) I don't know about that... you see I've never fucked a traffic cop before."
