I had the best day ever! went out on the PB racing bike first off and after that I was almost just going to ride with them again, however with the people queing I thought I would give someone else a go. Wanderered off and bought more tickets before going on the black one with "Don't lick this bar" written on one of the grab rails (#47 or 57?) believe it was the swinger driving so had a nice sedate ride :)
Highlight of the day.. Having a go with John, on the then imaculate looking Guzzi which Brett used to swing on. Apon climbing aboard I first found the hand holds, the looked up and thought... Hmmm not much to hold me in here, best I hang on tight. With a push from the nice by-standers (no face plant like the other poor guy I saw do it) we were off, into the first corner I figured these guys don't need to warm up the tires, cause we were off and racing!A bit of air here and there, annd on what I thought was the last lap we continued on past the pits for another! YEAH! Pace was getting pretty quick, all was going well.. Small incident on the last lefthander, bit of sideways and superman action, creating a not so immaculate looking Guzzi I still wanted more! John was straight back out there with another punter. I think I told him a dozen times that day.. If he needed a test swinger he could call anytime :D Guess I finally understand what Brett used to rave on about!

Was too damp up the Kaimai's on my way home from work tonight to bother with a Thursday ride. Good thing was the same last week as there were three very active cops. Still had fun following a Toyota van up the hill tonight, not often someone else driving the GP like I do, this guy was getting rather loose in the back end, gave him a big thumbs up at the top, we had a great run

The 675 is with out a doubt the best bike I have ever ridden.

I looked long and hard at the 749 and the 999 (cause I couldnt go to the big boys toy) and they just didn't fit me. Plus I was a little concerned about the continued raping of the clutch.

In the year I had the 675 I didn't have to adjust the clutch once and the only issue I had with the bike was the stupid tiny battery.

Sorry to wax on, its called sellers remorse, plus another worker didn't go home today. God speed Shalom to you
