So if we can get an idea of numbers I'll book the Blokarts. Good excure for Chris to take a day off work too.
My plan is,
Breakfast meet, then off to Blokarts, followed by a little pootle Steven has some good roads now down that end of town (we need to continue to work up a good appitite), then Drivers for a great Feed and socialising.

If there is not enough wind for Blokarts we will just have to go for a longer ride. Keep it that end of the Bay I guess maybe get down to Opotiki or something.

If its pissing down and there is no outdoor activity, what about Ten Pin Bowling for shits and giggles? Open to suggestions here.

Finally managed to organise a fine day for the north island on Thursday to take the bike up to Auckland to get the throttle bodies checked and it hooked up to the MV diag computer to check what is going on with the annoyingly infrequent stalling issue at idle.

Up in the morning not to early, lunch, service at Triple X Moto and back in the arvo to drivers!

BloKarts Update
Right we are booked. Time has been put back to 12noon as reccommended by Blokarts to give us the best opportunity for wind. There are only 15 karts, but working on some numbers I figure that will be enough and there will be some who what to share a 1/2 hour stint.

They have also mentioned they now have a new activity which is Laser Claybird Shooting. Five people shoot together at 50 Clays, $12 per head this is an alternative at the site if there is no wind. Shotgun style guns with no kickback, sounds cool.

Anyone got any suggestions yet for the ride?

Well what a complete mongrel of a weekend for riding, 6 hours to get up north on friday riding in the rain and flooding normally only 4-4 1/2 with stops. Couldn't see sweet fuck all and stuck through rush hour traffic on south and north side of Auckland.
Ride back today was much better allthough couple of places i swear i reduced my chicken strips even further due to having to counter the wind. Least i was out on my bike though which sort of made up for it!

You will either be in group 1, 2 or 3. If your in group 3, you are going to all three events, and premier members turn up to meet at drivers first. Group 2 for those who are going to two events, and group one, well your just the guys who turn up for the free feed, so a suitable fine will be imposed by group 3 on the day.

Meet Drivers 11.15am, depart 11.30 to Parton Road for Blokarts/Clay shooting. I will book both so people can choose, depending on budget you can do
1 hour blokarts $50
1/2 hour blokarts $30
Clay shooting $12

Ride afterward, wherever the cool winds blow us to

Back at drivers about 3 3.30pm For those of you with families that think you have an afair on the side, bring them along to meet your hairy mistresses. Bring the kids along to check out the poser bikes in the carpark.

They have put more ice grit down and when I came back over around 11.30 there was still thick ice on the curbing and some of the road. With several clear nights now we have black ice on top of black ice.

MY POINT IS..... When we go riding tomorrow, please everyone be very careful out there especially on the dark damp patches, the conditions are leathal. I know most are really experienced but thought I would share all the travelling Ks I do and what I see out there.

Well another 700k's of shit weather riding, I think today has to be the worst yet, rained entire way and just as i hit 70k zone coming into Paeroa got gale force winds that caused me to pull to the side and pray that it would stop, Dogged me all the way through the gorge then just diappeared again as quickly as it had started.

FUCKING bring on summer is all i can say!

Basically someone starts off by taking a photo of thir bike in front of a land mark and posts the picture in the thread.

The callenge is then on for others to work out where it is and take a photo of their bike in the same spot. First one to post the photo of their bike in that spot wins the right to set the next challenge.

Looks like a bit of fun and a good way to get more familiar with the monuments / land marks / local history within an couple of hour ride from home.

Today I got to help a friend out replacing his fibre clutch plates.:woohoo:

I was little bit nervy but a big thanks to idrumm and kawa10 for the hints and tips. It all went very well and the clutch (so I am told) is back to brand new.:wari::wari:
