Mate I am very happy with the footage that I have just taken.:rockon:

Hardly any vibration and decent clarity.

Only issue that I had was the blade got a bit dirty going through a bit of fog and stuff at the beginning of the ride:blip: Should have stopped and cleaned it but I forgot as I was starting to get keen:blip:

I gave it a bit of a bashing to. Up and down and a couple of hurried landings and she still hung in there nice and solid. :first:

I've made a stainless bar which bolts to the inside of the blade (mirror) and I made up a nylon seat that slides onto the bar for quick removal when going into the pub or whateva... however the nylon seat still has flex going over bumps and I get supadupa shakes.

I'll make a new seat from stainless the only problem with that is making a secure quick release.

I also wanna make it so the cam can be turned around to look under my arm... should get some nice shots leaving the pub:yes:(or whateva)

Sorry but there ain't any roads in nz that are that straight for that long. And anyway, when will you ever have a bike that'll have a chance of keeping up with the TL? Remember the Suzook TL is one of the best twins ever made, so don't underestimate it by comparing it to a pos cruiser. Even an R6 would be pushing it. Plus, believe it or not even straight line drags depend largely on the riders skill.
Try picking on someone slow like Korn.... then we won't all laugh so much!

Anyway, that's not what I'm here for...

Guys I should've posted this earlier but I'm a slack cunt.
We will not be going to the Devonport B&B tomorrow night, it's been suggested that we remain at the Nav and change our night to fit in with Olivia's nights off once she's got them sorted out (thanks BabyB). It sounds those nights could be mon and tues for atleast the near future but I'll let Olivia confirm or deny that cuz as you all know... I don't know shit.

So we're remaining at the navigator. See you all there tomorrow night.

Been looking at some simple mods already to help the handeling, USD forks lowering the trees on the forks, Ohlins gas shocks on the rear....

Won't make it a sports bike but be better than stock. Ofcourse this is all next year.

Well the guy was finally home for Sniper to check the bike out for me. He says it's sweet as only a few scuffs on the exhaust wich I planed on changing anyway lol. Gears were smooth and runs like a dream. only waiting on the loan now. Read my horoscopr for today and this is what it said,

I went to Okoroire today... just to waste gas, met a few guys from Tauranga and TePuke (strange that ya need to go outta town to meet guys from your area?) top of the hill was freezing but still the best few corners in the world:sunny: wasted a full tank of gas... worth every penny:yes:

Stock pipes, can't hear the engine at anything over 50kmh. Will be riding around all day friday the 15th in Christchurch getting used to the bike and learning it, and had no intention of riding lunatic styles all the way up. Why do you think I'm taking 3 days for the northward trip? Gonna stopover in wellington for a day to recover. Will have a few days worth of clothes with me in saddle bags so can't be too crazy.

Also the ride up is for getting used to the bike in the corners hence why I am flying down to get it instead of shipping it up.

Firstly no damage.
Broken mirror, clutch leaver and minor scratches on bike
Sore ankle, inner thigh and ego

Idrumm and I went out with BRide today Kopu to Whitianga, I was passing a truck at the top of the hill just before Whiti and had to break hard after I got past, rear started to skip and went out on me, I let it go briefly and the bike wiggled and went out again under decell (twins... shesh), the bike slid across the road sideways between 2 on coming cars (thanks to the guy in the ute, I owe you one) missing a ute by inches and backed the bike into an ss holden (a new one too) parked on the roadside.

Put the bike down just after I hit it.

I did my darndest not to hit it but the rear wheel and can left a few marks and scratches, I'm bummed about this more than anything... looked like $100 damage but you know insurance Co's... I'll expect $500.

ID and another guy stopped to make sure I was OK... I'm sweetas... bit sore now that Im home and Trudy can feel sorry for me and make me coffee.
I wasnt going to tell her until the insurance bill came thru but my mirror was hanging off the bike when I got home.

There were alot of guys on the road, I started in the mid pack but they're too slow so I left them behind and was chasing the front pack... too cocky... dont know twins that well (learnt sommit today) and should have just enjoyed the sun.

Oh well... at the end of the day these's no real harm done... except for the chick in the back of the holden watching me slide towards her sideways at 100k LOL

Sounds like you came off pretty lightly and TL's don't crash too badly... were you wearing gloves?

I'm ready and rearing to go... but I still need a new rear tyre... it's all cracked up (cooked it, another reasonable excuse I can use:yes: )

My ankle is alot better today... so where we going?

I was using the front break and trailing the rear, the rear came up under breaks and skipped then went out as I leaned... I let it go but the v2's engine breaking sent the rear out for some more... all over rover.

I know, I moved my GF in 105 degree heat index (which is 40.5 C) and didn't have a problem. Horrible for riding during the day and even the nights are almost to warm wearing alot of gear. So many people wearing jeans at the Kenny Chesney concert in the sun.

Nah I didn't. Not enough time. I got a restricted that allows me to ride with other riders. Not sure how much trouble I would be in if I got pulled over. Should be goin back in the next 3 months unless I can get my visa extended or something. It's the first thing on my list if I do.
