Alright, after a few of us did this last week we've decided to make it a regular occasion....
When: 1730 (5:30pm) Thursday Nights
Where: Drivers Bar, Behind McDonalds, Corner 11th Ave & Cameron Road
What: Just a social get-together, a couple of cold ones and some shit-spinning.
We've noticed that there's alot of members around the Tauranga area that we haven't had the opportunity to meet. So all are welcome (out of towners incl) and hopefully we'll get the chance to meet some new faces. There's no ride involved at this stage, you're welcome to ride to the pub or bring the cage.
Wybmadiity works here, and the publican is really good and will look after us. Last week they shouted us a bowl of hot chips.
So come along for a yarn, I promise to make sure Dingdong is on his best behavour, and he won't bite!
See you there,
Mark
Edit: For the newcomers, please don't bother reading the 100's of pages of drivel that follow this post.
You will only lose hours of your life that I will not refund and you will probably be a bit dumber afterwards too. All you will learn is that wybmadiity no longer works at the pub, the canadian is abit weird and really sux at picking up chicks, BB2 has questionable sexuality as he rides a honduh, don't piss BabyB off because she' s got a look that will make you feel the size of a peanut, and i have an unhealthy habit of biffing bikes down the road :(.
So just turn up on the night and introduce yourself (we're the ones with the helmets and bike jackets incase you're wondering), we're a friendly bunch and won't bite (except for DD, i don't recommend standing next to him if he hasn't been feed lately).
Or skip to the last page of this thread and say hi there.
cheers.

Head down Maunganui road toward the Mount.
If you get to the Main shopping centre you have gone too far.
Or if you go down Totara St to the Mount end (just past Mount Motorcycles, the BMW dealer etc) I think the Fire station is on your left(?) you are looking at Breakers, Navigator is aparently just over Maunganui road.

Well off topic I know, but something you Tauranga based riders will know better than anyone else.
Realising there is not a correct answer due to the variables, what time is reasonable to allow for the Coro Loop from Tauranga back to Tauranga??
Thinking of when Kids are at school and Wife is at work .....
Thanks.

Never been round the Coro loop so don't know.
Maybe I should ask at the Navigator on Thursday night.

Fun ride up the kaimais on the 750 (reminded me how big the thou feels!) then a quick ride home from there.:innocent:

Ya forgot Flash and MidnightMike. Hey next week we should all go by his place (hopefully someone knows where he lives....) and each take turns kicking him in the arse till he says he will get a bike the next day lol.
No I didn't, I'm pretty sure they're under 18.... apologies to you guys if I'm wrong.
Which one you want to kick? I think both are looking but are probably trying to find sports 250's under $3000 (non-existant).
Ahh, Thursday night is hair curling night (:tugger:) with the girls, sorry

As for the TLS tho, wasn't making fun of it. When I first saw one I fell in love with it, and I still reckon they're one of the sexiest bikes out there.
Don't even mention the sound *Drool*

Here's the plan,
Meet at the Shell servo on SH2 by the bottom of Welcome Bay Rd at 0830. We'll head south and turn left at Peaongaroa onto Old Coach Rd. Up to Matata and then back down towards Rotorua thru the lakes, up to Mourea then across the top of the lake. Then we'll cruise up Te Waerenga rd and Pyes Pa rd to Wayne's place for a well earned cold one.

Not the best choice of words...
I'm thinking we could have a ride on Sunday morning before going to Wayne's place.
I gotta do some repairs to the bike, if I finish I'll be there (but I'll definately be at my place anyway...)

Shit that felt good. Hands are frozen and saw three cops and the drunk tank lights flashing going the other way and another cop turned his lights on while behind me gave me the shits but damn it felt good to be on a bike again.

No. Sadly I did the sane thing and decided to wait until my bills level out a bit in a few weeks before I get one. Want to talk to the boys at the shop there cause one of them was at the pub the other night. More sociable than the bayride boys seems to be. Also hoping to get a better deal on gear to go with it.
If they can do better than 0% discount on leathers, boots, gloves and helmet to go with the bike then they've made a sale lol.

Hey guys,
I'm thinking we could have a ride on Sunday morning before going to Wayne's place.
What ya's think?
Yeah mate, sounds good Im in, clutch is sweet test ride tomorrow, better put my pink leathers on. Waylander can I borrow yours.

How come you were stopped at the top of the Kaimai's Tony?? I didn't realise there was a bike and a car stopped there until I was past you and then I couldn't turn around until I got to the bottom cos visibility was crap and it was slippery as hell.
