Had a good ride Sunday...caught up with some of the poseurs at Kopu then buggered off to Coroglen with Paul Brown and co...Lol Paul has bought a cruiser to take his Mrs on, was interesting following that (Sparks for Africa) Was playing around with Power Commander at every stop to get rid of some flat spots and pretty much got it sussed... Gave a 07 CBR1000 a drag down a big straight and he could only just get passed under power lol.... Fire in the hole!!!! and not to mention 4th gear power slides around some corners with slicks on too! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :)

The boys are ready for track day on Friday so will see you guys there :clap:

He even took the canary off road for a cruise in the run off area before deciding the track was a better surface to ride on :doh: Quite impressed with how the VTR went ...managed a nice stand up wheelie down past the pit straight... Spud couldnt get on the track as he was on the waiting list but she was chocka, so he drove into town and got some piss and watched the rest of the day.

I'm trying to organise a treat for my 15 y/o 1,6R learner son for december. He's done damn well in school, and, well, in most other stuff too.

I'd like to get him on the taupo track on a bike with some nuts - either a tangy 250cc ish two-stroker, or a howlin' inline4 under or around 600cc, and a little guidance on how to do it. He has about 8,000km on his own roadbike, races his own B1 rep pocketbike, and is a super nice kid.

I'm happy to cover your costs and a bit, if anyone would like to show a nice young chap the ropes.

The rear tyre is also bald and unwarrentable, the current wof and rego is expired too the licence playe number is 36TWC. I have already filed a police report so if you see it could you plz call the police.

There is a red speed camera van just past McLaren Falls turn off picking up the west bound traffic, he's been on the hill since 10am this morning.

would say 7.30 to give you plenty of time, i use to do tauranga-hamilton in 50 mins when i was communting there for a year. espially since you have to watch your speed down the karipo straights.

I travel there by car three times a week. If your going to north Hamilton/TeRapa go up through Morrinsville, quickest way.
Takes exactly 1 hour at 105kms. But yes allow 1 1/2 hours and you will be fine

Ummm, was Tga to Otorohanga yesterday by car for work, then came up to Whangarei yeaterday afternoon. Ran the gauntlet through Kaimai's, Matamata, Walton, Morrinsville, Tahuna onto SH1 at Ohenewai. Thats got to be the most pleasurable and efficient way to travel north to Akld by far, was 1 1/2 to bottom of the Bombays. Mike Maunder of Maunders Suzuki here in Whangarei is going to ride South with me tomorrow, might do his Oakleigh/Paparoa road heading south, a few country twisties, should be a good sunny day. Norfland roads are in their usual ruggard state, makes for more excitement when fork oils need replacing. But the beast is all good.
