The course is sponsored by Manukau, Papakura and Franklin Councils so they would like riders in their areas to be able to make use of this resourse.

Yes we eventually got to the Muddy for a Kilkenny. We then wasted all that quiet relaxation by pushing Ian's Aprilia around the carpark trying to get the bastard thing started! It wouldn't of course so thats 2 bikes out of 5 that went home on a trailer...

Regarding my post earlier this week.

If any one from the Manukau, Franklin and Papakura area are interested then get in quick.

I cant say that there will be preferential treatment for those comming from these areas as it wouldnt be fair on the other riders from other areas.

All I can say is that this training day at Hampton Downs is being sponsored by the district councils of Papakura, Franklin and Manukau.

Oh that corner, I remember the first time I hit it to fast, then oh Fuck just lean and hope. Had a laugh first time Centrecore hit and I was following , he slowed right down and waved me past after grinding his pegs. Well won't being seeing you guys for at least a month , as thats how long it's going to take to get another waterpump. Bike sprung a leak back from Paeroa this past weekend.

Was going to join ride, but my kids turn up from school with letter about death of boy next door Lovedeep. He is 6 yo boy, died as van rolled on Southern motorway on Sunday , I just found out about it. Lovedeep was they only son and spend lot of time with my kids playing, riding, eating and walking to school . I told him how to ride push bike, he was a quiet, strong, good boy.

And not to take anything away from Lovedeep, but had my first Thursday night ride tonight. Took my 16 year old son with me. We had a ball. Though he told me he got 'whitebum', I said 'what?' He said 'you know like white finger, but on my arse'

Hope to do some more. Though will wear warmer clothes next time.

To some of you I told story (bit of long one ) but: last week on way to work at 6 pm I have bike cop on front of me merging in traffic, after giving ticket to cage on side of motor-way , so I wasn't going to do anything stupid. He was just got in left line which was slow moving and he have RHS indicator on to move in to my line which was faster so I indicate and change to gap in third fast line so he can have my spot . He tuck my spot and then proceed to follow me and pull me over .
He ask and try to buck me for everything : Is bike your, is it under you name , where is WOF and reg(on side I say), have you got you license, he call in and check on everything ......... . Then he give me ticket for unsafe passing maneuver and he even told me that I was doing 42km/h (WTF). I told him that is bullshit and why( curtusy to let him him in) and how I change line. He told me to cary on and that I was lucky not to get ticket for not visible WOF and rego . As I got on bike I told him to "FUCK OF" he was still busy riding something and 3 day later I got another ticket from him in mail for unsafe following distance. Just like Didgit got ticket doing 130 up Bombay hill on way back from coro, his bike is hard to do 130 on fleet road.
I going to fight this and my argument to judge will be "FFS he is cop WTF he know about unsafe ". Speaking of making most out of situation .

At worst you'll pay extra court costs, you might get off but its guaranteed you'll piss him off and you will cost the coppers far more than the fine they gave you.
