yeah i like working on my bike, just not the engine part of it. Ok, carburetors and shit, thats fine, but having to take the head off and stuff like that is just annoying.
Today i got a fairing for $30 thats im shoving on the gb, i think it came off a CB900 or something. Anyway, it came off a bike that was crashed at phillip island in aussie at 200kmh. Surprisingly all it needs is a bit of a fibreglass and a repaint and it will be ready to hook back on the bike. Oh, and i need to make up some brackets for it. That should keep me busy though for a few evenings. Hopefully it will make the bike a few k faster. Check out the pics. If it costs me $100 all up to get it on and looking good, ill be bloody stoked.

haha It's a small world. I just picked up some fibre glass today and i found some inch wide steal to make the brackets out of. I have 2 weeks holidays now from polytech so i think i will get done in no time. The mighty GB is only going to get better!!

Well, we're home again after we met up with Kendog to check out his new GSX-R 750. We rode via Pyes Pa Road through to Rotovegas, grabbed a bite to eat, and then sent him on his way towards Taupo. He certainly looked like one very happy camper on his new bike!

Saul came for half the ride, while Waylander, MidnightMike, Cajun and I came back through the Mamakus and over the Kaimais. Had a good ride up the Kaimais except for a tart in a gold Mazda 6 who wouldn't get the hell out of the passing lane :angry:

My Aprilia went bloody well :love: I'm getting more confident on it with each ride

I left around 8:30pm because it was fucking cold, and everyone else was buggering off. I didnt leave because of the rain though, i was going to get wet if i stayed or left then anyway. What a stupid ride home, wet, cold, and my bloody headlight was pointing too far down and i couldnt see shit.

You must have had to go all of 5kms.... The rain hadnt eased off over the Kaimais this morning as well, the fog was heavier tho :angry:
