A blurb from thier site on the Hubless Monster
JAN 2004, The Hubless Monster
Mike began the year pulling out all the stops with his creation of The Hubless Monster Motorcycle. Many Secret conversations resulted in the creation of the largest Motorcycle Tire in the World, The 360x18 by Vee Rubber. Not stopping there, a 23” Diameter Tire was also developed. The mold production began and Mike started with the construction using plywood and steel “Models” of what the tire would look like. This new 360 Tire was so wide and with limited time for production (2 Months) that he decided on using friction drive technology from the Carnival Ferris Wheel, plus the drive system would have to be hidden. The bike would incorporate the most amount of sheet metal ever used on an Amen Bike. Mike decided to pull out the drawings for The Hubless Wheels that were 8 years old, and build A REAL Hubless Bike. The “Sheet Metal” resulted in being fabricated as boxed structural steel panels used to mount the wheels and drive system. This Bike is so Revolutionary and Historic that the following list is a breakdown of its accomplishments.
They are as follows:
1.) The First Fully Functional Double Hubless Bike in the World.
2.) The First Bike Fully Engineered and built without the Tires being in Existence
3.) The First Custom Bike in the world to unveil a new tire on a completed Bike
4.) The First Custom Bike in the world to have the Largest Motorcycle Tire in the world, 360mm.
5.) The First Custom Bike in the world to have the new Industry Breaking 23” tire size.
6.) The First Custom Bike to incorporate Friction Drive Technology with Hubless Wheel Design for a Total Clean Look.
The Hubless Monster has been featured and shown most everywhere including the Discover Channel Great Biker Build Off
VH1 Top 20 Count Down
Speed Channel Corbin Ride-On
2 Wheel Tuesday, to which it is seen in the opening credits each week

Bad news.
Bike down in Tauranga today, Cameron Rd just down from Bayride. On the side of the road heading twords 11th ave. I didn't see any police about and no one looked like they were wearing gear so either rider was not wearing any or already taken off in an Ambulance. (yet the bike still be on the road?) Lots of plastic bits around the bike most looking like they came from a car.
Blue and white Suzuki of some sort with pipe on either side of the bike. Other than that I have no idea what it was. Not a TL, looked older. Didn't recognize it so don't think it's one of our own.
Extent of my knowledge on this.

just measuring across the battery terminals like that won't tell you shit...
Check the voltage across the battery terminals while winding the starter over: if it drops below 8-9V then your batteries flat (but not nessasarily fucked)
Check the voltage across the battery terminals with the bike running: should be 13.5-14V, if not, your charging system is faulty.
If your battery isn't sealed, pop the caps off (carefully) and if one or more of the cells are bubbling while the bike is running then the battery is fucked.
Lastly, with the bike turned off, disconnect one of the terminals and connect an Amp meter in series (ie:one lead to the battery terminal and the other lead to the cable you disconnected). This will tell you if anything is drawing current while the bike is turned off (reading should be 0). DO NOT attempt to start the bike while doing this test.
try that.

Dropped to ten but had the battery on the charger from about 5:45 till just now when trying it. so may have had a low charge before.
Check the voltage across the battery terminals with the bike running: should be 13.5-14V, if not, your charging system is faulty.
Revved it all the way up to 5,000 and still didn't reach 13.
If your battery isn't sealed, pop the caps off (carefully) and if one or more of the cells are bubbling while the bike is running then the battery is fucked.
No bubbling.

Dropped to ten but had the battery on the charger from about 5:45 till just now when trying it. so may have had a low charge before.
Revved it all the way up to 5,000 and still didn't reach 13.
No bubbling.
Does it matter wich one? Disconnected the negative lead and got a 0.00.
No it doesn't matter. Sounds like your charging system is faulty. time to do some research on the net... let me know if you get stuck.
(Just ask Fish what happened on Saturday.....twice even :D )
Dude, there's medication for that... even comes in a nose spray now!
LOL...

Heh.
Anyway the Stator coil was fine. Next step is too check the regulator/rectifier wich is mounted on the opposite side of the plate that my left side pillion peg is mounted on. I have no idea how to get it off and removing all visable bolts from that area isn't it. Nothing showing up in the manual either.

Finally got to the REg/rec but now having trouble figuring out how to test it...
The reg,rec is a sealed unit but I'm supposed to test alot of things inside of it according to how I understand the manual. I've added a screen shot of the relevant page.
Thought of testing the wires comming out of it but the only time I get a reading is one pin from the mutlimeter on the metal casing and the other on the one flat pin inside the plug with the white wires.
Only other wire comming out is a red one wich I'm assuming is the power line to the battery.

Korn's crew showed up bit ofcourse, no korn (ya slack!!)
Good to meet DMNTD and Duc-Gurl, and don't worry I'll get up norfland way at some point.
Some cunt was following me home (and yes know they were following me cause I took a few random turns and they stayed with me) wasn't a cop so sped up and lost them riding around a few side streets and eventually cutting my lights off and waiting for them to go past before heading home. Knew that switch had a reason other than saving battery power.

Needless to say it goes a LOT better now but slightly disappointed that the 205hp (at the crank) claims were bollix.
Currently tuned at 173bhp at the rear wheel though which'll do for now I suppose
