thats the name of the game in some ways isnt it...its interesting that streetview don thave the school bus signs,so i am not sure i woulda picked that as the stop anyway.Was keen to get out last night after all afternoon in teh garden

Those signs went on very recently, I noted it for the first time travelling home on Friday as I normally go home via the gorge but traffic was slow due to Quasi's whale - I thought it was terribly Ironic when I saw stoneys tag.

i did have two helpers!.I knew it was a Wellington City Council (or closely related ) because the way the fences/rails are done...also knew it was a "special" place,cos of the ropes/hoses and holes in the cross rails.(they are hoses)

jeez mate apart from the fact they are v twins they are pretty different!

Both 1 liter (Duc 996 so close enough) but the SV/TLR series dont need the 10k valve services-

Gettin quite sold on the v-twins but thinkin the Duc 750 for me and a big Jap v-twin for me and her-
But tested a ST4 today- sigh- what can one say- yummmmmmm

I like to ride, rather than spent hours and hours searching the web to find the tags, only for the locals to then snatch it. Let's make sure that every now and again, tags are more common landmarks or at least we get a clue, giving everyone a chance.
The easiest way to kill this game off is making the tag's too obscure for non locals, It will cause people to give up and drop out of the game.



PS. I have spent the day riding the hill at 7:00am, a round of golf at Martinborough, followed by 3 hours playing on the hill and a ride around the J'ville/Mackra/Karori loop. Finally getting home at 6:00pm so I haven't been trying to find the tags. It's just a general observation.

the point is to have fun....its a game,an excuse fer ridin...but of course it bloody good to get the tag too!I can see where Hakeye is comin from in some ways...taggin mid week is pretty opurtunistic(is that a word) I cant get any during the day so can only get night ones,and of course that makes "local" the only option,and of course its always dark so options are limited.

the point is to have fun....its a game,an excuse fer ridin...but of course it bloody good to get the tag too!I can see where Hakeye is comin from in some ways...taggin mid week is pretty opurtunistic(is that a word) I cant get any during the day so can only get night ones,and of course that makes "local" the only option,and of course its always dark so options are limited.

Let's make sure that every now and again, tags are more common landmarks or at least we get a clue, giving everyone a chance.

It's a catch 22: if the tag is too obvious, you know you won't get it before the coasters ;). I think I need a map of all internet cafes in the coast... or make a team with a coaster for the week-end :whistle:
