I left my big packrack bag at work so decided to leave him at home to guard the house as he's just a tad to big to stuff inside my jacket. I suppose I could get a topbox/dogbox for him?

I don't do mornings very well, especially in the weekends, and that's likely the best time to steal it back :-)
plus I'm a bit financially (and temporally) underresourced at the moment, and my bike drinks rather more than it should :-(
Theoretically, I'd like to see it move around further ... practically, I'm unlikely to go chasing much at the moment, so it doesn't matter :-)

No bad feeling here Devo. Life is too short to get hung up on something so trivial. I'd be quite happy to catch up for a beer or go for a ride with you guy's.
I've dropped out for my own reasons which has been well documented and put to bed.
This was more of an observation and suggesting a reason. If you look at the regular players now, people like myself, KGB, Aero, Cloggy, Drogen, Jiminy, RWH, even Stoney to some degree, and Laxi due to his inability to keep his bike running for various reasons :bleh: , have been absent from the game for a while.
This means that apart from BMWST who placed the tag, there aren't that many active Welly/Valley players left.

Un fortunately, its one of those things that happen over time, and I dont know of a fix without bringing in more rules which are a game killer in themselves.

tiger does look interesting.I have a attaraction to the bigger front wheels and the shaft drive.Being rather tall the height and size of these bikes works in my favour.I dont really envisage me doing any real trail work, but the occasional gravel road jaunt which might involve a stream etc are no problem for these bikes.I have had some fantastic days exploring the back roads of the rapa. Also with the good steering lock they are good for exploring urban streets too.It will all come down to what the price difference is.

I honestly think its the speed and competiveness of the game that has put people off.I dont really mind going to get a tag and missing out but i have to beleive(however naieve) that i can get it.If i think i have no chance i wont leave home. That can get tiresome.I guess most people will just go for their own ride instead.

I like the style and the shaft drive but at the end of the day its going to be some sort of trade off between price and the reality of my dominant use which is highway commuting at the moment. But at the moment the dreams are still free.

lol out of all the bikes in this class these are the 2 i would prob consider. havent had the opp to ride the 1050 tiger but its a fantastic looker. gone to 17" front and rear now tho, puts it more in the tourer class rather than being a genuine adventure/dual purpose bike
ktm has 21" front + 18" rear

Laxi due to his inability to keep his bike running for various reasons :bleh:
with the exepyion of the 3 weeks it took to replace my bike after it got written off, the old zzr did 45000ks with stuff all issues thank you
I honestly think its the speed and competiveness of the game that has put people off.I dont really mind going to get a tag and missing out but i have to beleive(however naieve) that i can get it.If i think i have no chance i wont leave home. That can get tiresome.I guess most people will just go for their own ride instead.
for me it was just a case of couldn't be bothered anymore with the rush that was placed on people to get the new tag up, i never liked keeping file tags and a couple of times when it took mean hour or 2 to ge the new tag, people started getting antsy. Just decided I'd rather go back to riding for fun

Nice one. Did you have some intel on that , I'd been searching all the RSA's and War Memorials, wouldn't have even thought of a Bowling club.
Very good :)
I hadn't even noticed it was a bowling club - I found it several weeks ago, cruising round looking for something interesting to tag, but didn't feel like stopping there at the time, in the dark and with 'loitering youths'.
I would have described it as 'Carpark at Titahi Bay shops', since that's the sign I followed to get there.
