I'm more than happy to be beaten to a tag by a scooter, the rule is "bike must be in the pic" 1 of the south island guys got a tag on his push bike cause his bike was off the road, and seeing as how it dosn't even say must be riden there, ive thought about chucking the pocket bike in the car to get 1 as a wind up

Sweet I'll keep that in mind. Have now found the scoot is blocked in by a dead BMW but with any luck that will be moved in the next hour or so and scoot tagging will be enabled!

Oh and Drogen, last bike was sold to a mate who needed transport when I happened to need cash. Next one is hopefully in the pipeline if a few things come together as planned. (Anyone want a cheap van or a cheap mx bike? Swaps for sports bikes welcomed haha)

But the little journey was good fun on the scoot (including explaining to mr plod that the reason he clocked me at 63kmph was that I was trying to get a run up for the hill (which he stopped me halfway up :angry:). I'll be trying for more now I think.

They're both MX bikes... Sold my last bike (VFR400) and I'm currently looking for a new one as I wait for my RM250 and my van to sell. Hopefully won't be toooo much longer before I can feel safe on the motorway again :woohoo:

The map and the stats sheet show where the tags have been...if you are planning a tag beforehand at least have a quick look to see if it has been tagged before.If its a spur of the moment thing whilst out and about there is nothing much we can do about it i spose.....Isnt it amazing how the nights are getting lighter...and already the tags are spreading out!

There are two very distinctive landmarks,one natural and one man made...that i recognised almost instantly

There are definitely landmarks in there! As BMWST has said, both natural and man made! I can guarantee you WILL have ridden past those places. You just haven't seen them from this perspective!

Zoom in to what is in the distance. Once you work out where it is, it's just a matter of elimination for the location of the camera. (The sun play's a part in the identification - taken at around 5:30pm).



The motorway is close at hand so it is reachable on the way to work by most folks playing the game.

it was easy...when you go down the j ville motorway past tawa there is a long low building up on the hill.....and you can see that in hawkeyes shot,the other landmark is the inlet....so you need a view of the inlet about opposite tawa!
