What gave it away for me was the broken windows on a large building on the very right of your picture. There is only one building in the hutt which looks like that, the old railway workshops. From there it was pretty obvious which building this was by looking for the distinctive roof in Google Earth.

2nd clue: was Cloggy needs to be looking closer to his backyard.

1st clue was: the street Generically speaking, (it could be a Avenue/Close/ Grove/ Road/ street etc) this is on also has a school.

At the end of Lees Grove in Wainuiomata.
Street view won't show it, and from an aerial view you would not pick it (I didn't anyway).
I didn't know there was entrance to the school of Lees Grove. I knew there was a school in that vicinity but always thought it came of Hay Street. Not being a regular to those parts of the Nui didn't help either.
Initially I was looking for this tag on the other side of the park around Eastbourne.

The clues in the pic which led me to locating this were Wrights Hill in the back ground and the park with the green topped hills in the foreground. Didn't take long to draw a line through those points and locate this.

Same here, point in the distance is instantly recognizable but there is nothing else to line it up with. I can't pinpoint which suburb is on the knoll centre right of the picture so just stabbing in the dark really. Finding it on street view will be more good luck than good management for me.

Again Wellingtons varied geography catches us out.I looked just about every place i could think of that could get a view like that,but i didnt think of that little corner of Jville,Good Tag KL!.In the end Bald Eagles hint plus the fact there is a house with a curved roof in the shot pinned it down for me.You can spot the curved rooves on Sat view
