they may be able to get a key number for you off the barrel or of the vin(WMCC).

You should have used the kill switch to turn her off. Then to go again all you had to do was crash start her.
I'd contact Suzuki or a Suzuki dealer with the frame number, there may be a record somewhere (if the bike was NZ new) of the key numbers.
Failing that, take the whole lock barrel out and show it to a locksmith. See what they can do.

when i snapped the key of in the gas tank I was lucky enough to have the number left intact, but the guy at chub said they could have got it from the chassis number if they had to

now for the broken key. any chance you can use needle nose plyers or twesers (yes i know my spelling sucks - oh well - i'm over it), to pull the broken piece of key out of the gas tank key hole? then you can take the broken key to the key cutting guy and he should be able to make you a new one. i have done this excact same thing before with a car key of a mates before, so it does work (lock smith in petone). if your VERY VERY carefull, you may be able to use super glue (Like i say if your VERY carefull) to attack someting to the broken piece of key to extract if from the gas cap key barrel. but BE CAREFULL, if you glue up your gas tank, dont go yelling at me please.

file pics are tolerated as long as it's clearly stated as same and time / date it was taken is included. ( This can provide extra clues )

There are those here who love tags that are just hills without any roads even .

:Offtopic: Alright guys, an update on my "lost key" saga... Spent the avo dismantling the bike to take barrel to locksmith (to avoid the $300 plus fee for a mobile service). Locksmith tried in vain but rang me half an hour before closing to say he hadn't had any luck yet and if I wanted it for the weekend I'd have to come and pick the barrell up and take it to another locksmith on Saturday :bash: Picked it up, came home and resigned myself to a weekend of no Suzie....then on a whim I phoned the last place that I had seen my key - shell Miramar. Of course I got a young chap on the phone whose first language certainly wasn't engrish! Took my name and number and left me with no hope....2 hours later the phone rings....said chappie explains that he has my key! :woohoo: Pick it up tomorrow then straight off to get another one cut....

i need you guys to think about what you actually need in the way of maps and stats...i am getting pissed of with keeping them up to date.Last night for example by the time i had finished doing the stats sheet i couldnt be bothered finding the landscape place.
i am going to simplify it no matter what.I will stop recording statistics for where the tag was as far as locality and for what day it was taken.I will change the sheet round a bit so it is a bit more user freindly and then the person who grabs the tag can update it themselves??

Firstly I must extend my appreciation for what is/has been put together.

If players can update themselves and I can still see the 'score' data I don't need any more than that.

the stats sheet is only editable by me i think because of the "group" tagging and bike make part is "fiddly",esp if you have to add more rows....
