i wonder about this game

when i left home i didnt even have my leggings on.That changed about 200 m from home,and as i went up over box hill etc it was still windy and cold.Where this new tag was taken was even worse,i had to steady myself to take the picture.
On the way back I saw a fellow on a Ducati Paso and he turned on the seat looked and pointed at me.Turns out it was KrazyGixxerBoy.He said "Surely you arent tagging in this weather"..........:doh::yes:

As you say BE, a bit of a sense of humour. And fully accept it as a tag. Just think we need to be careful not to set a standard that becomes the norm and accepted for the future. Hence my remark.:mellow:

I can't see many people venturing out tonight in the weather we currently have. Even if AJ brings it back, it will probably sit until the morning anyway.

As well as that, they do an excellent big breakfast at that cafe in the background. You know the one, it's in Matinborough isn't it :innocent:

Rules are easy...
#1 - Find the tag and reproduce the photo (as best as possible). The first person to post a found tag gets to place the next tag. If you get a tag, but somebody else posts their picture first, you lose.
#2 - Take the tag to a new location(location to remain in "host area"), get the photo and post it here. Give a few hints so the next person can figure out where the tag is located. Try to place the tags in interesting locations, maybe a bit of history that can be found down some nice twisties.
#3 - Tag must be a) findable and b) may be placed on a dirt road if a street bike can make it. Maintained gravel is OK, but make sure to let folks know that gravel is required to get to your tag. We don't want to exclude those who don't like to get dirty.
#4 - File photos are NOT permitted. You gotta ride to play this game.
#5 - Your bike has to be in the TAG picture

As a newbie I am a bit confused as to what is acceptable - eg file photos.
My opinion is a photo of a tag location should be taken after a tag is claimed - posting an earlier photo just to get it up on the site quickly to keep the game moving and not riding to get a photo will reduce the challenge of the game.
I hope I haven't got this wrong - but someone will set me straight as this is KB. :nono:

sinned you have the crux of the matter.In its purest form every pic would be a fresh pic,but this places constraints on the game.There is pressure from most of us on the tagger to get the new tag up quickly,and of course most of us need to go home or to work to upload the new pic.This means the new tag is almost certain to be close to the just claimed tag(may i use your raroa park tag as an example).Also in the middle of winter it was dark in the morning and dark at night so a file pic is useful there.
We are in a transition.Daylight saving is here and so we now have opportunity to go further afeild and i think we will .As quasi said the claiming of the tag must be a fresh photo and i think most people do get a fresh photo for the new tag.But sometimes circumstances mean a file photo is the quickest way.Use your discretion.I think there is merit in keeping the game going

No - it was my tag, AJ was going to move to the light side of the hill to make it eaasier to be got. However, with the promise of a glorious day in the Rapa today, the team thought it could stay here to make a great ride today. So the tag is still waiting in the Rapa, but i am sure i can hear the roar of Team Welly and Team Coast, thundering down the Taka's as I write, to claim the treasured prize. Go like the wind my friend and it could just be yours....

hmmm.... we have had this discussion....only a couple post remotley AFAIK it would change the game if everyone did.
