Near memorial park petone around south st somewhere.I initially thought it was inside petone recreational area,but it wasnt.So i had seen memorial park on the map and i knew that it was near or in a sports feild so i went roaming round the streets ,then it started raining and i was just about to give up when a building caught my eye and in the shadows i saw the statue.View not quite the same,but ineeded to be nearer to get the shot

i had a bike that did that...in the end i found one of the fork legs had a very very slight peak from a stone chip,some careful work with a fine file and some wet n dry had it all flat agin...
