big morning catching up on a lot of little chores and messages,one of which was a new 2 into one pipe,where the original had a collector box(complete with hole)However the nice stainless steel rear muffler is full of iron oxide,so cycle works is gonna cut the old muffler in half,redo the interior plumbing in stainless and put it back together,so again for the moment i am bikeless :weep:

Google satellite view doesn't help, cos there's cloud right over that bit. Street view mostly confirms it, in the midst of all the sunshine haze...

I twigged partly by making out the shape of the hill in Belmont (wotz it called, Mt Belmont or something?). Hills weren't quite right for Shelley Bay looking across to Mt Vic, plus the right-hand lights didn't belong. Lights could have been airport (but lights not quite right, and road wrong way), or city docks (but Tinakori Hill doesn't have that much light, it's town belt)...

Tricky! And all good.

Google satellite view doesn't help, cos there's cloud right over that bit. Street view mostly confirms it, in the midst of all the sunshine haze...

I twigged partly by making out the shape of the hill in Belmont (wotz it called, Mt Belmont or something?). Hills weren't quite right for Shelley Bay looking across to Mt Vic, plus the right-hand lights didn't belong. Lights could have been airport (but lights not quite right, and road wrong way), or city docks (but Tinakori Hill doesn't have that much light, it's town belt)...
