Yeah that's what threw me. Thought I recognised it but when I compared it on street view, the building is completely different so dismissed it. Used to walk past there almost every day walking the pooch.

if you paste those co ordinates into google maps it will show you where.Conversely if you right click on google maps the whats here on the resulting menu will give you the long and lat.Thats how i get those co ordinates.I dont have a gps either

I almost got taken out at those very lights today by some moron changing lanes to get around a car waiting to pull into that car park. Hit the back of the bike as I went passed him. :eek5:

its about 99 stokes valley road,you cant see it but santa is waving,its even on google street view,thanks Mr Devo for the intel,that particular house doesnt seem to be on the proffesionals web site .My view is sllightly different ,it includes a couple of landmarks which should have been in the original pic IMHO.Those A frame houses are quite distinctive.

Going past a gate is fine by me unless it's obviously private property and going to piss off somebody. If it's just a general area with a gate to stop cars then I think a number of us have already posted similar pics in the past.... I just wish I knew where this one was :scratch:

I believe this is council land or a council like government authority, it's not private land. It's quite a cool spot.

You should see some of the other pics, but they may be a bit much for a tag. Whoever gets this should have a look around while they are there, particularly about 20 feet behind the bike as it sits there.

Well done,Khandallah is a real rabbit warren...I still get confused there.Bit Breezy too! .On the way back from the NaeNae tag i stopped on the Motorway to see if i help a guy on an old BSA single cylinder.It had cut out by the traffic lights by Belmont.After a bit of fiddling he mangaged to get it started

Yeah I agree and there are so many new players since it was done. Some of us long standing players can probably recycle quite a few of the early tags. Just need to keep Sketchy and Devo away from them though. Don't want to make the job too easy for the Triumph clan :shifty:

I stuffed up. I was gonna go grab the tag but then I thought I've never been over Wainui side so I am over there now down at the coast. I should have grabbed the tag first then brought it over here. Oh well, I feel sorry for the world if I am ever involved in running it.

When the game first started you didn't have a choice, it was get it immediately or lose it. You couldn't afford to leave it a couple of hours because there were some very active and obsessed players. I've been know to spend the whole day playing in the rapa, get home to realise the tag was back over there and geared up and gone back for it. I've also been at the top of the Takas at midnight dropping the tag back off.
That was in the days when almost every player didn't have the luxury of mobile upload. So it was a race to get there, take the pic and get home again to post. You young-uns don't know how lucky you are. :bleh:
