Holy Grail - Hunters And Collectors
Woke up this morning,
from the strangest dream
I was in the biggest army,
The world has ever seen
We were marching as one,
on the road to the holy grail
Started out,
Seeking fortune and glory
It's a short song, but it's a
Hell of a story, when you
Spend your lifetime trying to get
Your hands on the Holy Grail
But have you heard of the Great Crusade?
We ran into millions, and nobody got paid
Yeah, we raised four corners of the globe,
For the Holy Grail.
All the locals scattered,
They were hiding in the snow
We were so far from home,
So how were we to know,
There'd be nothing left to plunder
When we stumbled on the Holy Grail?
We were foolish beings
But we were dying like flies
And those big black birds,
they were circling in the sky,
And you know what they say, yeah,
Nobody deserves to die.
Oh I,
I've been searching for an easy way
to escape the cold light of day
I've been high, and I've been low
But I've got nowhere else to go
There's nowhere else to go
I followed orders
God knows where I'd be
But I woke up alone,
all my wounds were clean
I'm still here
I'm still a fool for the Holy Grail
Oh yeah,
I'm a fool for the Holy Grail

Russell Brand has made a great point against abstaining from voting. No political party will ever do exactly what you think should be done. All you can do is look at their general viewpoint and pick one that´s closest to your own - or at least use it to block someone you REALLY don´t want in power.
Not using what little power you do have doesn´t work.

If Im right they built up the immigration fear from about 2 years ago , . .let ukip have its way then ,at the last moment kinda play the eu referendum card
Which if they play it like scotland will result in a lets stay with eu and cameron saying we did what you asked . . .

Bit hypocritical given the $ that slides out of this place and over the pond. Which bank hasn't "reached settlement" recently? Heard it a few times before, and am beginning to not believe it. Sure, it could be different this time and all of those billions they retrieve will instantly transform our lives... once the court cases are settled, and after lawyers fees etc... and the TPP's have been taken into consideration. Peer review... Success
In the past few years more professionals have come forward to share a truth that, for many people, proves difficult to swallow. One such authority is Dr. Richard Horton, the current editor-in-chief of the Lancet – considered to be one of the most well respected peer-reviewed medical journals in the world.
Dr. Horton recently published a statement declaring that a lot of published research is in fact unreliable at best, if not completely false.
“The case against science is straightforward: much of the scientific literature, perhaps half, may simply be untrue. Afflicted by studies with small sample sizes, tiny effects, invalid exploratory analyses, and flagrant conflicts of interest, together with an obsession for pursuing fashionable trends of dubious importance, science has taken a turn towards darkness.”
...
Dr. Marcia Angell, a physician and longtime Editor in Chief of the New England Medical Journal (NEMJ), which is considered to another one of the most prestigious peer-reviewed medical journals in the world, makes her view of the subject quite plain:
“It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of the New England Journal of Medicine” (http://www.collective-evolution.com/2015/05/16/editor-in-chief-of-worlds-best-known-medical-journal-half-of-all-the-literature-is-false/)

It will be the other way around if they decide that that's the way they want to handle people on too much of a regular basis. It'll likely lead to citizen initiated ambushes and violence towards the Police on a level that we've yet to see in a Western country resulting in the deaths of hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people given that they're pretty much all armed. The reality is that there is no protection for banking customers at all. Governments will bail banks out rather than bear the almost intolerable resulting economic collapse and leave bank cutomers swinging in the breeze. HSBC have quite simply just held the middle finger up to multiple Govts and yelled, "Suck it", at the top of their voice for the last 10 years. A change in legal entities and name changes and HQ relocation will just expand the capacity to steal, launder, lose and misappropriate money "invested" by anyone of a lesser financial status than Bernie Ecclestone, another famous thieving bastard. HSBC is one of the few corporate entities out there who actively take the low road rather than ending up there through a lack of coordination between the various arms of the same entitity or poor decision making by an investment arm.

People around me were screaming. I opened my eyes and was hit by a cloud of tear gas. I heaved shallow, gristly coughs as I ran clumsily forward, fumbling in a mist of hot, red pain. Everywhere burned. And then my ears exploded. The LRAD had been deployed."
"From news reports, it looks like people who attended Summer Jam enjoyed another year of hip-hop history being made. But the police reaction and the ensuing violence pose serious questions that are hard to answer. Why did the police escalate events? Why did officers deploy advanced hardware against a mostly peaceful gathering? A different kind of history was being written, once again."

There is no real glut. The dairy cycle goes traditionally in a four year cycle its at it bottom at the moment. While NZ may be about 33% of the worlds traded dairy production, But we are only about 1 percent of the worlds total production.
The simple fact is if the tariffs placed on our imports into these markets by our trading partners and the subsidies that drive there marginally economic production in these same countries were removed there would likely be very little peaks and troughs.
Sorry if that does not fit into your philosophy but that is how it actually is. Note Farmers convert land to dairy away from Beef, sheep and cropping as it is the most financially productive land use.

Notice how the whole world seems to be heading the same way as Israel and Gaza!
My minds eye picture of end of days is an Arab sitting on pile of Christian rubble with a Jew demanding a tax for his right to sit there FFS! :weird:
As I have already pointed out
the seven stages of the fall of an state
those that can... move to the country side , but before that heavy police presence due to disillusioned people ...then some sort of currency fopar .....
then the vandals sack the city
The end days will be when we can call Constantinople , Constantinople again
bring it on!!!!

If the comments on that page are anything to go by, they'll be lucky not to get lost on the way there
His fear is not only for the rich class, but the middle class as well; and subsequent collapse of the economy. All so the poor can get slightly poorer while bringing the rich down to their level. The rich certainly do not have a monopoly on greed, shortsightedness, and stupidity.

You're dreaming if you think a man worth billions who frets over an uprising of the poor hasn't got a bolt hole tucked away for such an occasion. He could just have a PMC on call, and you know what, if you and your rabble go to his place with thoughts of bringing him to justice by mob rule, I would consider the world better off if the PMC did to you.
No, the mob will not be able to touch the 1%, and will instead settle on the upper middle class who they can reach. Nasty nasty business, all because dumb fucks are to lazy to get a better system going without theft.

Of whatever requires understanding, I am willing to share with you; the pitchforks don't come out when understanding is shared. The first bit is that yes, hidey hole like that, or property in other countries, or property in international waters, or just sufficient means of self defense should you come calling. In any of those case, a stupid worlder rabble would not be able to touch him; nor most of the other 1%, so who would the rabble go after?

Off top of head only about 8% of the 1% ( if you include land) of the nobility in france had their haircut
Most of the transportable wealth escaped to to a bank and probably a rothchild bank at that
So again the fellas at the top escaped and the burdens fell on the middle to lower classes
The means of production never changed so they ended up back at square one

True, the pitchforks don't come out. Not be able to touch him? You reckon if they're at that stage that people will arm themselves with butter knives? This is murca we're talking about. The police stations will be overrun straight after the first gun depot has been looted. Would it be unreasonable for those who usually protect those who worry so, to fuck off home to protect their family's at that point in time? Foolish to think that the mob will destroy itself so easily and not have a mind to launch a few hundred mortars into his property, or fire a few shells into the place, maybe unload a few drones... Do you really think people are that dumb? It's going to be an almighty mess of that there is no doubt...
... so yes true, the pitchforks don't have to come out should an understanding be undertaken. Hence, I reckon an R.B.E. will let most of "them" off the hook and only "legally" pursue those "others" on moral grounds. Just a thought, by no means the only one on the matter, nor "one sided" either, but by all means you go ahead and leap aboard the oneeye for bogan fantastico land express and believe that you're in mashyville.

It won't be the police who have to protect him, it'll be PMCs with drones and automated sentries. Not sure how many poor you want to feed into that grinder, or for what purpose?
Oneeyed? you posted an article discussing an uprising of the poor and suggested he would have people coming after him for justified justice; I've simply pointed out why that would be highly unlikely to happen in such an uprising.

The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) is a proposed free trade agreement (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_trade_agreement) between the European Union (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Union) and the United States (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States). Proponents say the agreement would result in multilateral economic growth,[1] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transatlantic_Trade_and_Investment_Partnership#cit e_note-Clarke-1) while critics say it would increase corporate power and make it more difficult for governments to regulate markets for public benefit.[2] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transatlantic_Trade_and_Investment_Partnership#cit e_note-Monbiot-2)[3] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transatlantic_Trade_and_Investment_Partnership#cit e_note-3) The American government considers the TTIP a companion agreement to the Trans-Pacific Partnership (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trans-Pacific_Partnership).[4] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transatlantic_Trade_and_Investment_Partnership#cit e_note-StateDept-4) After a proposed draft was leaked in March 2014,[5] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transatlantic_Trade_and_Investment_Partnership#cit e_note-5) the European Commission (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Commission) launched a public consultation on a limited set of clauses and in January 2015 published parts of an overview.[6] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transatlantic_Trade_and_Investment_Partnership#cit e_note-6)
An agreement is not expected to be finalized before 2016.[7]

Spain is holding its own - and doing better than a lot of other EU countries can´t see it leaving the Euro any-time soon. Lending vast sums of money to the Greeks was like giving a teenage girl a store credit card. They borrowed the money and blew it all "living the high life" and now they can´t pay it back. Is it wreckless lending or wreckless spending? Either way pushing a country further into debt to pay off a debt doesn´t seem to make sense.
Best thing for boom and bust economies like Greece is to have their own currency, at least that way when the shit hits the fan tourism and exports stand a chance of digging them out. Even though the Greek economy is in tatters its still not a cheap place for tourists to holiday in or expats to buy property.

Yeah . . No
You are right about greece having their own money
Under rhe current eu sanctions against russia greece cannot export to its main customer . Russia
Anyway
Spain isnt greece but spain is about1 trillion in the hole with about 25 percent unemployment
Off top of head
Greece I agree with you to some extent but
Kpmg , sorry im on train using phone so will correct later
Kpmg audited greece in order to get them into the eu
The audit failed to show systemic problems with greek economy
Jp morgan i think was also in there lending money
Now greece is a small country and the debt repayment was high
So in order to repay the debt one should cut spending
On public services such as pensions . . Trains etc . . .
Can ya see the problem now
No government is going to cut the pension to oldies
See the debate in nz at the moment
So in order to meet social services greeks borrowed
Untill there was a point at which the lenders said no
Greece was hung out to dry
Greece owes 350 billion? Spain owes at least a trillion or more
Greece is bankrupt and gone from the eu
All the news u hear is window dressing disney news for sheep

I disagree - Spain has made some good gains - its not leaving the EU anytime soon. Spain GDP/government debt is now at 93.9% (more or less the same as France) vs Greece 175%. Unemployment in Spain is still high at 23% but it is dropping. By no means are things "great" but they aren´t Greece/EU split-tingly bad.

They didn't seem to be saying where the rejects (for the want of a better word) were going to be placed.
Germany had a destination pre-approved (Palestine) with their financial backers and provided shipping to get them there until the war got in the way!
All these displaced people around the world may appear to be a big problem now but that problem will only grow enormously as new generations appear and get restless!
Just an observation not looking for an argument!

Would there have been any advantage for Germany pushing for Jewish migration to what was a British colony then?
So after the war got under way what happened then oldie?
