It's even more dangerous when a 'backmarker' goes out first and weaves left and right at a slow speed to try and warm up their tyres.....
Forgetting about the people behind trying for some 'heat'....
Bang on Buddy! HEY, where can the full results for the Suzuki series be found? Not just the top 3 or so?

Guys,
At Wanga on Boxing day...
the missus and I were perched across from Toyota bldg on a corner...I guess it could be called the top end of the course - with Rugby field across road.... where a classic chair went badly off into the big plastic bales...saw him approach the turn at way too much speed relative to his other laps - and everyone before him...and I figured he was just gonna swipe the bales and park up....but he shot full noise.. front on into the bales...ejecting one guy into the air and through the front door of Toyota - collecting a spectator as he flew. Other racer (swinger we think)..was stuck wedged between the bike and the bales. Took an eternity for any help to arrive and help. A lot of people nearby us were getting quite agitated and loud towards the flag marshals..who seemed to not want to do anything for maybe 20-30 seconds...
Haven't heard or seen any media mention of this prang. Would like to know that these guys are OK. Looked very nasty.

Two years ago at cemetery circuit I told the rider of that machine, "as long as there are assholes like you racing around here, I'm not racing here again" he used Nodrog & I as a brake into turn two & almost tipped us upside down. His demise was entirely predictable.
Having said that, he's a lovely chap off the track.

Whanganui Cemetery circuit 2015
Once again the panel shop failed to deliver and so they organised us a rental which was a later version of what we normally use, this meant our ramps and stuff didn’t fit properly and we had to reorganise the way we load
Loaded and on the road for the first leg which was 290km to my Brothers in Blenheim for an overnight stop before the ferry in the morning
Arriving at the ferry we find there’s a 45 minute delay so bugger off into Picton to watch the tourists playing in the Kayaks
A nice sunny windless day means a flat sailing and arriving in Wellington we pick up Jessie who is catching a ride up to have a look at a street race for the first time, another 190km and we’re at the circuit and we walk a lap to check it out and then do a lap in the Transit before heading off to the Motel
Scrutineering the next day and we take Jessie through to show her the process and we get a chance to meet a few of the guys and girls we only catch up with at race meetings across the country and check out the outfit Tim Reeves is riding
No problems with Scrutineering and we load back up and head back to the Motel and find something to eat, we’re later joined by Alex/Andy and Goober for a drink or two
I manage to stub my toe and fall flat on my face going up the stairs before going to bed which adds a bit of pain to the whole experience of going to sleep
Race day
We head down a bit after 6 am to grab our spot and get everything set up, check the tyre pressures and fuel, Goober has travelled up with Alex and comes over to make sure we’re good to go and don’t need a hand with anything
Rider briefing comes around and is pretty standard and then the first practice sessions start getting called up, we have plenty of time as we’re 7th up so just relax under the ezi-up as the day starts to heat up
Practice
Reeves /Shorter are into it before we even get off the dummy grid passing another outfit straight away before they even turn onto the track
I tend to forget during the year just how bumpy this place is so we do a couple of slower laps then increase the speed
After the off track excursion last year I’m a bit wary of standing on the brakes to hard but practice goes ok and we pull back in to give the Sidecar another check over
It feels a bit twitchy in the steering so we give it a bit more castor and swap to softer front tyre
Qualifying
We increase the speed a bit this session but I’m not feeling that comfortable in the bike and because of that we seem to be a bit off compared to last year and with the session over find we’re a good couple of seconds off what we were doing last year but at least this year we get through more than one lap and don’t end up last off the grid
The steering is also feeling much better although the bumps up to the bridge aren’t feeling too good and we finish the session 10th and a couple of seconds slower than last year
We decide to leave it all as it is and try the first race to see how we go
Race 1
We’re on row 5 alongside Dave/Tony who have made some big improvements in their riding over the season and Bruce/Jim right in front of us who we had good battle with here last year
Lights out and we go
The starts not bad but Dave/Tony outdrag us to T1 and we both pass Bruce/Jim
Coming out of T2 Dave/Tony seem to have better drive and pull away, we close them up a bit into the railway
They’re quicker through the cemetery and we close up a bit into Robert Holden where Bruce/Jim fire their F2 up the inside of us
A bit of a slide from them on the way out and we scoot back past before turning up towards the bridge
I’m trying too hard to make up the ground and cock up both T1 and T2 going in too deep and losing drive on the exit
I pretty much make a mess of the entire next lap and by then Dave/Tony have a pulled a big gap and I’m not too surprised when Bruce/Jim pass us coming out of T2 onto Taupo Quay
Once they go by they slowly drop us off and we ride around by ourselves, then with a couple to go Tim/Robbie go around us in T1 and followed by Adam/Stu and a while later Aaron/Tracey
Between races we make a change to the rebound damping to try and make it a bit nicer over the bumps up to the bridge and ace sidecar mechanic Goober changes our tyre pressures (it’s all we trust him with)
We bleed the brakes as well and Jessie’s daughter Holly also taking in her first street race gives us a hand working the brake pedal so we can check the brake bias is where it should be
Race 2
It’s not that my start is better, because it’s not, but it’s better than Dave/Tony and we move past them and then swap to the right side of the track and pass Bruce/Jim before T1
We get a good drive out of there and get a nose alongside Drew/Alan into T2
Drew/Alan start pulling away up through the cemetery and dropping us off
I’m not sure if it the rebound change, tyre pressures or I’m just feeling better but we’re pushing a bit harder
I can hear a bike behind us and suspect its Bruce/Jim and at Robert Holden on lap 3 they pass us under brakes, I promptly cock the following corner up and give them a big gap up to the bridge
We close up a bit into T1 and then I blow that and T2 by being in a bit higher gear, Dave/Tony get a good run down to the railway line and come alongside and pass us as well
We keep them in sight for a bit but they’re riding well and I’m making too many mistakes and then like the last race with a lap to go Tim/Robbie come past followed a while later by Aaron/Tracey and Adam/Stu
We get all our gear packed up, briefly consider attending the prize giving but after a long hot day and a very early start the next day decide not and head back to the motel
Up early and on the way out of town by 5am, it’s entirely possible one of these vans might do 140kmh fully loaded but I wouldn’t know anything about that
We drop Jessie off at the Ferry terminal and get on the boat and about 7 hours later we’re at home and unloaded
Overall a good meeting with our best lap slightly faster than last year

I thought they might have been screwed by their crap start but they made it up
My start on the other hand was awesome, starting from row 3 heading through T1 and up through pothole behind Lovell/Bryant and Spike/Astrid thinking what the fuck I am doing up here with the fast guys after taking Spikes Advice to ride "morer betterer" pity I couldn't maintain it but we had a good dice with Pirate/Matt swapping places a few times until Matts leathers came undone
Highlight of that was riding around the outside of him for a pass down into T1 after he passed us down the straight
Took a second off our best previous time to get to 1.47.3 be nice to drop it further so here's hoping tommorow

Gotta be from section 6 Conduct of competitions.
Using the old rule nos either 6.10 The onus is on the overtaking competitor etc...Any competitor guilty of foul or unfair riding shall be excluded or etc...
Or 6.11 any competitor guilty of etc...(e) or of any other conduct which the officials consider to be dishonest or illegal may be punished etc....
Don't know if those numbers still hold but those rules should still be in the book. Either would be grounds for protest if the competitor being overtaken blocks the pass.
Glad it's nothing worse than collarbones anyway. Best wishes for them both.

Maybe you will let go of your Tall poppy syndrome bashing one day., I have tried to swallow and be friendly with ya Bro, but but but BORING repetitive crap just keeps falling out of your negative ass dude. And NO, I did not say that in those words at all! Unless I said when recovering from my head injury

Anyway, back to speculating on who's riding Aaron's outfit at levels.
Spyda said on ctas over the weekend that it would be there with a couple of hard chargers on it, but he either didn't know, or wasn't meant to say who it is.
I'm going with spongebob or Neville.
