I offered to pay the scrawny cunts entry for Ruapuna if he came down

Yeah, you're both screaming cock lovers!
That took you a while to work out

Fantastic, show one that was a fatal that'll get them lining up

Motor in the chassis is his 'Hot' motor. This Carb'd earlier R1 motor has a Klaus Klaffenböck cylinder head (from god knows where.. I think someone else in NZ had it before Harris? or maybe it came with bike.. dunno.) It came out of the ex Klaffi bike the pirate has

but I have heard him claim 170hp several times.
I think they used miniature horses when they dynoed that

:gob:Fuck I hope you're pulling nunmbers out of your arse!
He has a lot of room to do that seeing as he's had so much shit rammed up it from behind

YIP!!! SUCKERS!!!

Actually, They never raced it around the new track. BUT........ I know they did the same sort of times as me on my old chair (Darren Pates one) at most circuits. My old chair did 1:42's around there. That's true. So...... it must've been capable of similar times....... Faster than most rigs nowadays anyway. Certainly not slower than a 1:45.

Not now it aint... and another LCR might pop up in the south island.. Who's we will see. And possibly a long windle if they don't do as well as they want to at nationals.. but also see about that

When do you get it, and where's ya first outing?? Did the mission yesterday, it's sitting at my homo brother's place.
Is it raceable straight away, or do you have to fully strip it down? The motor isn't in it. But the chap Chris who we got it from, had just chucked a ZX12 donk straight in without modifying the sump or oil pick up. (Hense, the leg out of bed on th eold motor).

It doesn't need the full rebuild though, Chris did that, and a very good job of it too. Including re engineering the front hub to shed about four kilos of steel. He's a pretty bloody clever engineer looking at his work.

Oh, and you haven't raced it yet, and I am having heart pains...... so I could be dead and buried just yet before you get it out......

GOOD SHIT DREW!!! Cheers man. We're pretty fucking stoked.

(Hmmmmmm..... new rear tyre....)Rather get a front wet. The slicks on it are nearly new. Old as dirt, but heaps of tread.

The wets though:facepalm:. Exactly the same as the ones you loved so much at Hamsters. Slicks cut right down to the cords from the factory.

Has anyone got a name and number for the chap who sorted the engine in zx10 powered chair? Pate or something.

Once we get that fixed, we'll have to re mount the motor, because it was just mounted as standard and sits about six inches too high because of the sumps pokey down bit.

Looking to get it out at the hill climb in march, to beat Jimmy and my record. Paeroa would be achievable, except I have to buy dinner for 80 people that day.

Nope. Main positive feed from the rectifier goes straight to the main bus after the main 30amp fuse that leaves the starter relay. The thing I cant figure out is that everywhere I test, it always gives me the same result voltage wise. If there was a drop in voltage I'd understand an earthing wire or faulty connector, but as it is, I can't find a difference. Still perplexed......

The Bucket boys are beginning to emerge again in numbers with their sidecars, thought I would show off some of the "early" footage from 1999, even though there is a mix of bikes, this was an enjoyable class, and a great starting point for anybody.

This is the old Taupo circuit, and it is the one 20 lap race for the GP title. We won (I'm swinging in the black/white leathers), but it was a real hoot for everyone. Now us oldies are making a comeback, so come get some!

Check out GPRNZ forum in Buckets for more footage.

I'd like a trip down, so message me about it.
Ok bro, this plan sounds like the easiest for me.. will message you about it - I'll look up ferry costs.. how much gas does ur whip use per 100km?
Will need to figure out the costs..
If it goes this way, what are the chances u wanna drag a trailer to wangas and take the bike back to welly with u after cem circuit? cause otherwise it will either go to Kapiti to Biketranz warehouse/storeage or back to Tauranga which is getting further north not south lol.

I've done it with a solo - pull it out of the van and ride it on board. Ride off at the other end and into another van...They weren't worried about registration or WOF.

If I were you I'd be worried how much rubber would be left on the back wheel after someone rode it on board.....
mint! this could be a cheaper plan, if somone drops it off then I don't mind driving up to pick it up from picton - thats if drew doesn't road trip it down.

Anything in skirts got a free ride with those two....I thought at the time and still do that the soundtrack to sidecar racing should be the song "Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves"....

sounds bout right!

bored at work like I am? listen to my friend Reuben Stone do what he does best and make sweet sweet music.

solo album, free to listen to. hit play and just let it run!

http://reubenstone.bandcamp.com/album/spacing-memories

he is a poor cunt that makes his money by busking everyday on the streets of melbourne now (chch just didn't give him the money he needed to survive)

haha, buy his album if you like! but you can listen to it free online.

good xmas pressie..

solo album he did the whole thing himself from start to finish, the final editing/mixing was done by a sound tech and the album cover done by a friend Moses Robbins.

you can even catch me playing guitar if your lucky.. but only if your very lucky. They say dime bag died.. he didn't ;) he just changed his name to Eddie

p.s. track 8 is a goodie, and track 6 is a go-er, so are tracks 1 and 3.. but all of them are good!

p.s.s. Sidecar racing rules (keep it on topic)

p.s.s.s. Apparently 13 Entries in the sidecar class for the 2013 nats - yeee ha! cheers to all the north islanders that are coming down - wouldn't be happening without you as I think only 4/5 of those entries are south island. not sure who is gonna go north for nats, I will def try as I want to do Paeroa too, Grant Waters on the long windle will be for sure as he is trying to make his debut appearance on the nat champs podium :D Harris said he can't afford it, and yea dunno bout Macdonalds and the rest of em

Nev told me that you would like it painted after he straightened it out for you. Your mum liked the colour, she said you always had a thing for pink.
