It should ultimately be pretty easy to prove who's boat that is and all claims iv seen point out that boat fits the profile of Iranian skiffs. All the evidence so far backs up what the USA has said. And im no fan of US foreign policy. Its pretty simple the Iranians MUST have radar in that area. If it wasnt them they will be able to release the radar data for all surface ships in the area. Every ship (probably hundreds of not thousands) going through that area also likely has pretty decent radar on board. This stuff is really not that difficult to prove.

And neither ship is actually japanese but may have been shipping oil there. I know one is owned by a norweigan holding company and the other is probably similar. Both holding companies are saying none of their ships are going near the gulf from now on.

At least this time they have a video of a boat, that could belong to anyone, anywhere and doing absolutely anything. At best, it looks like it has just boarded some people from another ship, that is not shown as being on fire. In no way does it bring to mind a covert operation removing ordinances from a ship.

The thing I probably find most interesting is both tankers were mostlikely attacked while they were empty as you can clearly see the red hull marks on the ships showing they are most likely empty.

Mess with the USA's petrodollar mates like Kuwait, Saudi and UAE and its not going to end well for them. I think they know Trump actually has little stomach for a major war even though his posturing might suggest to some otherwise. If a torpedo hit it (well any western made one) the tankers would be on the bottom split in two.

Its clear whoever did its aim was never to sink the ships.
