He'd already committed multiple crimes just by being there with that weapon, I have zero sympathy for him
Nope.
He hadn't.
He didn't cross state lines with a weapon.
He was given the weapon by it's lawful owner.
The only thing they could pin on him would be open-carrying and being under 18.
But there's an issue with that, it's a little thing called 'The 2nd Amendment' - which Trumps (heh) any state legislation.
Consider that when the 2A was conceived, boys as young as 14 were fighting in militia, all the defence has to do is point to the 2A.
What's hilarious though is that in the politically motivated attempt for a conviction, they are inadvertently going to set new precedent on the interpretation for the 2A... and they aren't going to like it.

Or could they for instance do a drive by at night, and pop pop all done? Could that possibly happen? If course it could.
So it seems you were right, someone tried to run them over with a car....
Oh wait, no it's another BLM 'Activist' attempting to kill a Trump supporter, this time with his Truck:

What is the Threshold for you to acknowledge that ANTIFA and BLM are inherently violent, revolutionary communists?
How many more people do they need to kill before people such as yourself change your mind?
How much more Marxist rhetoric must they spout?
If the moderate right-wing goes 'Fuck This' and starts tooling up (considering the distribution of 2A zealots along the left/right political divide) - if the mostly conservative Police, current and ex-military etc. Join in - what do you think the liberal college activists who are live in states that have heavy restrictions on Firearms will be able to do?
It will be a bloodbath.
If Kyle is anything to go by, with a casualty rate of 3-1 (and considering how restrained and disciplined his weapon control was, that number could have been a lot higher).

They certainly did......
They being the Media releasing the Selectively edited video when they are trying spin their narrative, only for subsequent video to be released that shows the initial claimed story to be incorrect.
You would feel comfortable with people milling around with assault rifles that hold views different to yours? And before you bleat, yes that applies to left wingers too.
Guns have no place at protests - end of.
On the first part - I've been to a Rifle Range, I'm sure that on the balance of probability (given that I'm both opinionated and strident in my views) that a good number of them hold different views to me, I never once felt threatened. And also - they aren't Assault Rifles (pet peeve)
But let me take your point seriously - I agree, Guns should not be at Protests. The Michigan protest however was over the right to bear arms, and so exercising that right as part of the Protest is appropriate to a degree.
Edit - In the same way that a Protest about Gay Rights has ostentatious displays of 'Gayness' (couldn't find a better word), or that Environmental Protests might bring along rubbish collected from the Beaches or similar
Things get murky with the 2nd Amendment and the right to self-defence, but on the balance of things and to re-state I agree that Guns shouldn't be at Protests.
I did not know that the leader of the Alt-Right endorsed Biden. My question would be why? Perhaps he sees that Trump really is a crim rampaging through the constitution and so on using the office as the President to obstruct any penalties coming his way - for now.
I happen to know why, and it's got nothing to do with Trump. I could tell you, but you are unlikely to accept the answer, even if I provide the direct quotes, the historical backing etc.

It wasn't a business that he owned, but one where the business owner asked him to help defend it.

It would seem then, that one should look a little more closely at the facts before one renders a judgment.
No it wasn't
What part of a well regulated Militia was he ?
There's two ways to answer this:
1: He was effectively part of a militia raised by the business owner and his subsequent excellent situational awareness and trigger discipline confirms that he was well-regulated.
2: it doesn't matter because the Supreme Court has repeatedly ruled that the interpretation of the 2A (in reference to the Federalist papers, English Common Law etc) is for the individual right, not a group right.
In which case, the original intent of the 2A for individuals to assist in keeping the Kings Peace and the suppression of lawlessness is precisely what happened in Kenosha.

So overnight our time Bob Woodward has released tapes proving that early in February Trump knew how deadly COVID 19 could be. That it could be passed through the air, and that it was likely five times more deadly than the flu. Yet while nearly 200,000 died (and counting) he kept calling it a hoax. He didn't want to cause panic. He didn't want to panic the stock market more like.
It almost defies belief that there are still Americans who believe it's a hoax except that we've got people that detached from reality on KB. It has long been known that it's more difficult to convince a 'mark' that he's been conned than it was to con him.

Indeed... He has been charged by a Politically motivated Prosecutor. And as stated - if they proceed with this, I predict a precedent setting bit of case-law and the Lefty Gun-Grabbers won't like it.
However, the Kenosha/Wisconsin issue has been addressed - since it is a 15 minute drive from where Kyle lives to Kenosha, he works in Kenosha as a Life Guard. It's the equivalent of someone living on the North Shore of Auckland and working in the CBD.
On one of the videos one of those who he shot, actually had their hands in the air and was stepping back. so you be the judge.
Go on Husa - say what happened immediately after he had his hands in the air, and before he was Shot.
We've got Clear video, if you are feeling brave enough.
And because I know you won't: He then tried to level the Weapon at Kyle (and Kyle was faster on the Draw).

Firstly, I'm not Bonez.
Secondly I'm well aware of the story, the request for Citation was for the claim that I had championed said story. I'm a big fan of having things attributed correctly.
Understood, you are not Bonez, For a start, you are far too literate. You asked for the citation (post 9530) and a few posts later (9533) your mini-me popped up and said, "You haven't provided a citation as TDL ask for."

Which of the two is it ?
Bad TDL typing on a phone and missing a couple of key words.
But fair point.
Am I missing something?
Don't both quotes say the same thing?

Told you so.

It wasn't a business that he owned, but one where the business owner asked him to help defend it.
.
and that they responded to a request for help.
Whose request to help, you said the business owner requested help, the business owner says he didn't, what the lawyers says is what he's being paid to say
So is it now just a general request to help?
Am I missing something?
Don't both quotes say the same thing?
Similar but not quite
Nowhere that I have read says he asked his friend to call the police either

I'd say they're pretty fucking similar.
I can't for the life of me understand why TDL agreed with you.
Just an observation.

Thought you guys are grown boomer adults? You’re starting to sound like a bunch of little gossip girls with all of this bickering it’s embarrassing.
Half of these recent posts are in PD and that’s the truth.
Most of you don’t even live in the US nor partake in its elections - worry about our own backyard.

America doesn't give x2 damns about any of us kiwis (they would chew us up and spit us out).
So what’s with the fan girl club? Why care so much?
Some Americans don’t even know NZ exists FFS.

The US having put a certifiable nut job in charge of the nuclear football is a whole magnitude more threatening than anything Judith, Jacinda, or even Winston could do.

And a fitting way to close this thread.
There is now a USA 2020 thread, and as this thread is over four years old and America is now about to vote in the 2020 election the topic can be carried on there.
