ah gotcha....ahwell
you could always buy it, drop it and do a deal for a repaint like some bus drivers around here
they do look small don't they, I thought the styling on the yellow one was primo
At least i accidentaly dropped it........ and it was easily repairable, unlike some who like to play superman and leap off thier steed, dump it on the road and then be reliant on a kwaka rider to pick it up. Only to have it written off
You could have traded it :oi-grr:
Is there a ride on friday?
WHAT? nooo thats just wrong!:no::laugh:

Hmmm not for long I'm afraid. I've got the itch for a new bike.
The red and black Blade Breaker is actually Ver2. Ver1, a Raven Black tweaked one and my first true love was tragically taken from me in a garage fire last year. After 2 R6's its time for a change.
Nooooooooo!!

Ride leaves today at 1pm BP Fitzherbet to check out the Sprints at Carterton. Best time to change oil is after a ride when engines hot. I always do a filter at the same time.

You have a couple of options re the naki, going around Surf Highway and back SH3,or else go from Hawera to Manaia, turn towards the hill, turn left at Kaponga or the Opunake Rd and cruise along till Wiremu Rd,onto Okato then hit NP.Then go through the Forgotten Highway back home. But mostly ride from Palmy to Hawera there and back,if the distance is to great.

Nice pics even though a sad ending to a great day.
Girls when you drink water in the "wild" go for the flowing stuff, not still as may be stagnant hehe. And drink upstream from any animals standing in it.
Great to see when you ring roadside assist they have tiedowns.I have AA plus which includes the bike and car if 100km from home transport or option of staying in a motel etc, etc, hope I never need it,but for extra $40 is worth it.

Was wondering the same thing myself bonez, it would appear someone still has a vandetta against some of us, and i am not pointing the finger at Chancey
Any enquiries made as to what's going on?
Sarah is fine although a little pissed off. Her bike lost power at the bottom of the rimutakas, Welly side as we were about to head over. It appears there is something wrong with the alternator and its charging too much, metled the fuse. She called SOS recovery to pick her bike up and it took 4 hours by the time her bike was on the trailor and we were heading home. Long story.
So we sat on the bottom of the takas watching the bikes go over the hill and back again, Thank god it was a nice day and i had good company or i may have lost my hair :eek5:

Nahhh, seriously, I totally understand why it gives most people the shits. I lived in Paraparaumu and used to take it to the takas, the 1st few times I kind off just endured it, but then it got to the point where I enjoyed it more than the Rimitakas themselves. I got to know it so well, I knew where the rock falls were going to be after a heavy rain, where the moss grew and so on. It's good for developing that spidy sense too hehehe
My all time favourite ride through there was on a GSXR1100 modded superbike, developed a whole riding style around that bike getting it through there...I called it controlled crashing :Punk:
Out of all those rides I did actually crash once, on a temp one way wooden bridge covered with diesel one end to the other...I saw it pulled in clutch, did not touch brakes, but moment front tyre rolled onto bridge, wham, down goes bike with fresh one week old paint  So I think, at least my mate following saw me and will fare better...just then his bike slid past me! We had to drag our bikes off as the wet diesel drenched wood was so slippery, we could not get a good enough foot hold to lift our bikes! Yes siree, the aka's, fun times!!!!
Oh yeah Ferris, I too have come across cycle races there, and yep, writes off a days fun, mind you they do that to any road.

the front let go in the pissing rain/hail south of houhora, i tried to save myself by sticking out the right boot (pure reflex as i was expecting to go down hard), as soon as my foot hit the road it was fired back by the forward momentum and into the can it went, managed to keep the throttle on (more by accident than intent) and she wriggled and squirmed and stood up again, so on i pootled
didn't even know i'd booted the can until we stopped in kaitaia for gas and told the story and dogs noticed the dent
