Poor Owl, I just left him standing there in the shop, as I put my hands in the air and walked out, before I said what I was thinking. Never mind, will give Josh at Suzuki a call in the morning and see what he can jack up for lunch time for me. i'm sure they will want my money.

Don't you worry, I happen to be dealing with an employee of that place at the moment and I've certainly let him know all of our displeasure, I think ANZA might even read this thread tomorrow, so if any one has something to say, say it now:blank:

I really hope you have some luck. I was thinking that I should contact the boss tomorrow and complain (If he doesn't know there is a problem how can he sort it type of thing). But I am too angry this time, they have lost me as a customer. Bad timing on their part, 2 weeks before I will be looking to go shopping big time.

When I first arrived in Palmy I got the old shoulder at ANZA. Same as ynot_slow I was seriously checking out a VTR thou. Moved on and found another second hand. Recently I've had good service from both the shop staff and workshop. Once I called by with the kids to pick up a visor spray and the kids walked out with free muffins.

Sorry to hear you got treated so bad, got similar treatment there once because i didnt own a Harley
Sounds like the boss is the main problem, so its gonna be a waste of time complaining to him, just shop elsewhere

I've had more than one person tell me that Keran in Sales and Andrew in parts are the only ones there worth dealing with, and I'm finding that out for myself.

yeah you are right there, Andrew is a friend of ours, a good guy.
But Anza have always been like that, hard to deal with that is

Im soooooo sick of getting ignored in that friggin place!!

I don't know if its because I'm a chick, because I'm young and not going through a midlife crisis or because I don't ride a Harley (maybe a combo of the 3?)

I went in there the other day to look at getting some more pants and NOTHING. There were 4 people I could see, standing around with their finger up their bum... no one even said hello... :crybaby: really hurt my feelings

Are there any bike shops open early tomorrow morning? I thought someone might have a bit of foresight and opened early incase people need anything?

a message i got.....
Hi Road King,

This is an important message we are trying to get out to as many bikers in Palmy as possible:

Please meet the main group in Sanson (cnr SH1 and SH3) at 8.30am for a 9am start, it is VITAL that the bikes all begin together in order to stay together and have maximum impact.

Please can you help spread the word to other bikers in Palmy, we do not want the ride into the city split up!

Thanks,
Hanne

We moved off slowly and I gestured to the car at the next exit to go ahead of us. What's the media coverage of the ACC protest in the local papers here,in Napier nothing, except for a letter to editor(by local organisor),nothing at all, except a friggin two page on the guys doing ride for violence, and toy run.Nothing about how ACC will start shafting bikers, then everyone else, stands to reason, get the books looking really great then hock the company off,and anyone notice the Insurance at end of their letterheads, and phone messages.

Also might go and see if I can get served about a new bike, litterally,or a nice second hand one.The guys in our favorite shop could learn shitloads from 5 Star in Napier, thought wof expired on 17th,but looking on Sunday night showed 14th whoops.Off to work Monday, drop bike into 5 Star and say wof please, said if done by lunchtime I'll pick up then incase I get back later, get call to say all done,$35.00 later and they even realigned headlight as was way off beam for free.Service manager friendly, and ideal PR for his firm, typicall Suzuki guy methinks.Even parts guys speak upon entering, acknowledge customer, bloody good, cause no customers = broke company(and jobs lost, though maybe the guys here don't want a job, bloody hard living on $200 week).

When I first started riding on my GSX250, I was about to leave work , put bike out of shed, thought I'd put stand down, but no, as I let it go and turned around to shut door, it fell over off stand in slow motion, but I was too slow to catch it, bugger, bugger , bugger. Hurts your pride more than anything.

Aparently there is a red Buell like mine that was at anza, and a black one that was in Wellington motorcycles and aparently BOTH of them were left idleing on their side stands and they BOTH took a walk and bit the dust, so you can now guess I'm extra vigilant.

On a side issue, Sparkles came round late this afternoon to see the carnage as I have his bike in my shed so good to see you're o.k. Sparkie!!

Tired of your old plate or got enemies that know your rego number???

The answer is simple, just go to VTNZ or AA etc. and ask for a new one!!

Thats right folks, for a one off payment of only $9 you can trade in your tired old license plate for a shiny new one with completely different numbers on it!!!
